Starting Seeds

Starting your own seeds doesn't have to be expensive.
Seeds need light, warmth, moisture and a place to grow.
These egg shells will make great little starter pots. By cracking the egg at the smaller end instead of in the middle, I was able to create the perfect little pot, for pennies. First I poked a hole in the bottom to let the water drain, then filled each egg with seed starting mix. I planted one seed in each shell covered and watered until moist. I have placed them in a sunny window to germinate.
We will follow their progress into the garden.
